Google is set to launch Bard, a chat rival to Microsoft-backed ChatGPT, in 180 countries as it expands its artificial intelligence platform. Executives at a Google developers conference in Silicon Valley said that generative AI will now power the tech giant’s leading search engine to enhance user experience. Google CEO Sundar Pichai told thousands of developers at the event that “With generative AI we are taking the next step” in making their products useful.
