ChatGPT’s entry into mainstream technology raises the question of the potential of natural language processing in building control, design, and compliance.

AI Ethics and Challenges

While AI has potential, there is a need to address ethical and legal concerns around relying on AI tools to make decisions. The Future of Life Institute recently published an open letter, signed by tech experts like Steve Wozniak, calling for a pause on training systems “more powerful than GPT-4” to address the regulatory, ethical, and safety concerns of AI.
