Starting this week, ClickUp users can select their role within their organization, choose from various prompts, and fill the necessary fields to generate content like case studies or model schemas. Additionally, AI functionality can be used to check spelling and grammar, reducing errors in human-generated content. ClickUp AI also supports translation into 12 languages, including French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic.

Summarization Tools and Action Item Generation

In addition to content generation, ClickUp AI offers a range of summarization tools. Users can quickly generate AI-generated recaps of long tasks or comment threads, as well as summaries of lengthy documents such as whitepapers, meeting notes, or research findings. The AI capabilities also facilitate the generation of action items, helping users identify and organize their next steps effectively.

A Two-Pronged Approach to AI Development

ClickUp has adopted a comprehensive approach to AI development, collaborating with external vendors while leveraging its internal expertise. The ClickUp AI model has been created and trained in-house, supplemented by OpenAI’s GPT models with strict data licensing agreements to protect customer data privacy and ensure it is not used for training purposes.

Furthermore, ClickUp has implemented stringent terms and conditions to maintain transparency and protect user data. Contracts with vendors specify the proper use of data, prohibiting the reuse of personal identifying information for regular AI training or model building.

ClickUp AI Trial and Pricing

To allow users to experience ClickUp AI, the platform offers free trials across all tiers. Users on the Free Forever tier can complete up to 25 tasks, while Unlimited and Business users have a quota of 50 tasks. Business+ and Enterprise plans provide access to 100 tasks during the trial period. The free trials are not time-limited, allowing users to fully explore ClickUp AI’s capabilities.

After the trial period, customers can opt to add ClickUp AI to any Workspace on a paid plan for an introductory price of $5 per member per month.
