How to Improve AI Content to Pass AI Detection Test

Experimenting with AI content and observing its susceptibility to AI detection has been a fascinating endeavor for me. In one particular experiment, I tasked ChatGPT to generate a 150-word paragraph about dogs. Although the topic was chosen randomly, the intention behind it was to understand how AI-created content can be detected.

To test the content, I employed the services of an AI detection tool called originality AI. This platform proved to be a powerful tool in identifying AI-generated content. As expected, the test revealed that there was no trace of human effort in the content.

The AI detector is able to discern AI-generated text by analyzing the associated metadata. It looks for patterns and similarities that are indicative of AI models used in the process. A similar approach is taken by Google’s algorithms to detect and flag AI content as spam. They analyze sentence structures, vocabulary choices, and inconsistencies in voices to identify automated content.

To overcome these detection mechanisms, I realized that three important steps must be taken in editing AI content.

Step 1: Highlighting and Polishing the Content

The first step involved polishing the content by eliminating passive voice and simplifying sentences. I utilized the Hemingway Editor, which helped me identify lengthy and complex sentences. It provided a readability score of 11, indicating that the content may be difficult to understand. Following the editor’s suggestion, I split long sentences and paragraphs, resulting in a more readable piece of text.

Step 2: Substituting ‘They’

Researchers have conducted numerous studies on detecting AI content. One common method employed by these algorithms is analyzing text patterns, including the frequency of certain words and patterns in punctuation or sentence length. I spent time correcting repetitive words and nouns that made the content sound awkward. One word that appeared frequently was ‘they.’ AI models tend to predict the next word by using common words like ‘the,’ ‘it,’ or ‘they.’ By minimizing the excessive use of nouns, I reduced the reliance on such predictable patterns.

Step 3: Bring Life to the Content

To make the content truly unique and original, I added relevant research to enhance credibility. Incorporating expert quotes further enticed my audience. Additionally, personal stories provided a fresh perspective and engaged readers on an emotional level. Visual media, such as photos or videos, were also included to support the content and make it more compelling.

After completing the final draft of my content, I ran it through the AI detection test once again. This time, it passed with flying colors. The content was entirely original and successfully evaded detection.

The final step in the content creation process involves editing and fact-checking. This is crucial to ensure the overall quality, readability, and accuracy of the information presented. It is important to verify the context of the information and ensure that all quotes and research are correctly attributed.

In conclusion, improving AI content to pass AI detection tests requires careful attention to detail. By highlighting and polishing the content, substituting repetitive words, and bringing originality to the content, one can create AI-generated content that satisfies both the search engines and the audience. Through thorough editing and fact-checking, the content can reach its full potential.
