Ceridian – soon to be known as Dayforce – has recently launched an innovative set of features for its workforce management platform. Known as Dayforce Co-Pilot, this suite utilizes AI technology to automate repetitive tasks, providing employees with a “hyper-personalized” guide.
“In order for organizations to fully tap into their people’s potential, they need an intelligent, agile, compliant, and connected people platform – powered by AI,” commented Joe Korngiebel, the company’s Chief Product and Technology Officer.
Ceridian believes that AI-based tools hold the key to addressing the challenges that arise with increasing organizational complexity in today’s ever-changing, borderless, and always-on environment.
Integrating Generative AI
Ceridian has been incorporating generative AI and natural language processing into its Dayforce platform, offering products like Dayforce Career Explorer that enable employees to better manage their careers. This includes enhanced access to career pathing, learning and development opportunities, and notifications regarding available positions.
Dayforce Co-Pilot aims to fortify Ceridian’s platform through:
- Dayforce Talent: By leveraging natural language processing and generative AI, routine tasks such as writing job descriptions, creating personalized learning paths, and generating performance reviews can be automated.
- Dayforce HR Service Delivery: The co-pilot system generates suggested answers based on the corporate knowledge base, and it automatically creates HR service tickets when additional assistance is required.
- Dayforce Autonomous Payroll: This feature helps minimize operational risks and errors by identifying and resolving data anomalies ahead of payroll processing.
In addition to Co-Pilot, Ceridian has introduced an enhanced candidate experience portal that simplifies the application process for job seekers. This portal eliminates the need for account-creation forms and provides a “save-as-you-go” function. For recruiters, these new features streamline their workload through improved interfaces and automation, specifically designed to handle high volumes of hiring and repetitive tasks.
The company has also unveiled Dayforce People Programs, which coordinates strategic HR initiatives like volunteer activities, training rollouts, alumni engagement, wellness challenges, and charitable donation campaigns. This is accomplished by utilizing data-driven workforce segmentation and automated communication methods.
This new suite of features complements Ceridian’s recently introduced tiered model for Dayforce Managed Payroll. Through this approach, Ceridian collaborates with customers to effectively manage their day-to-day payroll operations, replacing their previous standardized service delivery model.
