Google’s Chatbot Bard Gets Major Updates for Real-Time Responses
Google has updated its experimental chatbot, Bard, to provide real-time responses to user requests. In September, English-language Bard Extensions were launched, allowing Bard to retrieve relevant information from Google tools such as Gmail, Docs, Drive, Maps, YouTube, Google Flights, and Hotels. This makes trip planning and other activities easier by centralizing information in one conversation. Unfortunately, Bard is not yet available in Italian.
Meanwhile, ChatGpt has also undergone and continues to undergo updates. In just a few months, it has become multimodal, with a paid version in GPT-4, integrated DALL-E3, learned mathematics and hard sciences through the Advanced Data Analysis plugin, and now allows users to upload and analyze PDF files. GPT-4 seems capable of understanding when users want to generate an image or a graph and automatically switches from DALL-E to Advanced Data Analysis.
Some argue that chatbots have become dumber over time, but they have certainly changed a lot. Let’s discuss this below. You are on Ascanio.
