Customer-Centric Agenda Prioritizes Partnerships and Generative AI

Informatica World just wrapped up at The Venetian Resort in sunny Las Vegas. Despite the temptation of the casinos outside the conference hall, Informatica managed to keep the energy high throughout the event with a flurry of announcements. The overarching theme behind all of the announcements was the company’s dedication to customers and their data ownership.

As cloud technology dominates the business world, most companies own their data as opposed to renting it. Informatica aims to ensure that their customers can make the most of this valuable asset. In fact, Informatica is on the Acceleration Economy Top 10 Shortlist of Data Modernization technology providers.

CLAIRE GPT: The Future of Data Management

The most exciting innovation unveiled at Informatica World was the development of generative AI. The standout feature was CLAIRE GPT, Informatica’s generative AI-powered data management platform.

CLAIRE is already Informatica’s AI engine that drives the Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. With the release of CLAIRE GPT in the second half of the year as an IDMC service, customers will be able to harness the power of large language models to make data management, processing, and analysis more efficient. Even non-technical users can use CLAIRE GPT’s natural-language interface to quickly utilize data. But that’s not all, Informatica has also announced advancements to CLAIRE Copilot, including data governance automation, pipeline generation, and customer data organization.

Partnering for Success

Informatica also announced several new or expanded partner relationships. One of the most exciting is its expanded partnership with consulting firm ZS, which will embed IDMC into their cloud-native life sciences platform, ZAIDYN. Informatica also announced three major partnerships with cloud hyperscalers that are in the top three providers on the Cloud Wars Top 10 list.

Microsoft: IDMC will be available as an Azure Native ISV Service. Informatica’s Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) is already available natively on Microsoft Azure.

AWS: Informatica’s AI-powered Cloud Data Integration-Free will now be available directly from the Amazon AWS Redshift console.

Google Cloud: Informatica’s Intelligent MDM Software-as-a-Service can now be purchased through the Google Cloud Marketplace.

We spoke to Informatica’s CFO, Michael McLaughlin about his thoughts on the conference. He emphasized the company’s focus on technical innovation and customer-centricity. “With the IDMC platform, we can deliver all of that complexity and power in a simple way that creates value very quickly.”

Informatica World concluded with a celebration on a glitzy Vegas rooftop. Team Informatica donned Bahama shirts and clinked Corona bottles, rightfully celebrating a successful event full of exciting developments.
